Job Summary:
OnPay’s Account Executives are responsible for assisting OnPay clients with their insurance needs (health, dental, life, vision, short-term and long-term disability plans). This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure that our clients are knowledgeable about the benefits plans available to them and have assistance in selecting a package that best fits the needs of their employees. Role Responsibilities:
Engage with prospective clients to understand their goals around employee benefits and provide an introduction to available benefits packages
Obtain quotes for applicable lines of coverage. Present these quotes and advise client regarding plan options, coverages, and pricing
Hold meetings to discuss the details of the benefit plans with the client’s employees
Partner with the carriers to ensure all employee elections are correct for the inception of the policies and submission deadlines are met
At the close of the sale, ensure all relevant documentation is organized and handed off to the Benefits Service Team
Maintain an accurate record of client communications and activities in the CRM system
Traits and Skills We Seek:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-driven and goal-oriented
Able to multitask and handle multiple important assignments at once
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Problem solver who enjoys helping others
Education and Experience:
Experience selling or administering employee benefits
LAH certification is strongly preferred; Must be willing to obtain it within the first year of employment
Payroll knowledge preferred
College experience (degree strongly preferred)
