Job Summary:

The People and Culture Team seeks someone passionate and high-energy, with at least three years of learning experience, to become the next Learning and Development Specialist. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering creative training programs using the Adult Learning Theory. The delivery methods will include self-paced eLearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), blended learning, and interactive virtual instructor-led assessments in support of the development of our team members and leadership talent with a heavy focus on Payroll knowledge and Product training
Your primary responsibilities will be supporting OnPay’s team member development strategy by applying industry best practices and technology while collaborating with subject matter experts and appropriate functional leaders to determine audience-specific requirements and align on expected post-training outcomes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and interactive eLearning modules, training materials, and presentations tailored to the target audience's needs from inception to completion
Facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to provide education on all relevant topics
Collaborate and build strong relationships with leaders from various departments to identify learning needs and develop relevant training programs
Work closely with subject matter experts to gather content and resources for training materials
Adapt delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences
Conduct evaluations to assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives
Analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future enhancements
Utilize and maintain the learning management system (LMS) and other technology platforms to deliver, track, and evaluate training programs
Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in learning technology to optimize the learning experience
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the quality and impact of learning and development programs

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
At least three years of experience designing, developing, managing, and facilitating learning programs in-person and/or virtually
Experience with Google Suite is required
Experience managing an LMS is required, i.e. Docebo
Experience with traditional instructional design tools, i.e., Articulate 360, Camtasia is required
Skilled in content instructional design & development and adult learning theory
Background partnering with and supporting senior leadership
Proficient in managing every stage of a project, from inception to execution
Must be willing to provide a portfolio or eLearning examples
Payroll knowledge a plus
