We are looking for a well-rounded social media strategist to join our team. You will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase web traffic and brand awareness.
As a social media strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills to handle all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting our brand through multiple social media channels, we would like to make you part of our team.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our company web presence is aligned with our marketing and customer success/support strategies.
Designing social media strategies and creative assets to achieve marketing targets
Managing, creating, and publishing original, high quality content on social platforms
Administering all company social media accounts to ensure content is up-to-date
Managing social media editorial calendar and posting cadences
Incorporating A/B testing to identify and lead social performance improvements
Responsible for social monitoring and listening across review platforms
Liaise with content writers and marketing to ensure content is informative, appealing, and consistent with brand identity
Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and product teams to generate social ‘buzz’ regarding new product launches and upcoming events
In partnership with customer support, work collaboratively to respond to client feedback and work towards resolutions
Communicating with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network
Staying up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices

Great attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as a team
Analytically inclined - You can dig into social media metrics and parse data into meaningful insights
Excellent writing chops - You can develop clear, effective copy for web, and social channels
A pioneering spirit - You're proactive, solution-oriented, and not intimidated by a campaign without a defined roadmap
Project management - You have a knack for organization and know how to keep campaigns and projects moving forward efficiently
Interpersonal skills - You are eager to build collaborative relationships across teams and work together to deliver successful campaigns
Education and Experience:
We want to say that you should have 2-3 years of relevant marketing experience, but we'd hate to discourage anyone who doesn't quite fit the bill. Some previous experience working as a social media strategist or social media manager and familiarity with social media scheduling tools (i.e. Hootsuite, CoSchedule) is highly desirable. Not required, but you'd get bonus points for experience or education in the payroll, accounting, finance, or HR fields.
