Job Summary

We’re looking for a talented leader who will lead our efforts to continue building our Benefits team and function. You should be process-oriented and operationally driven as well as be an expert in upselling and converting inbound leads. You should be able to work independently at times but also collaborate with your team, as well as fellow department managers to identify needs and solutions.

As the Senior Director of Benefits, you will be one of OnPay’s biggest advocates. You should not be focused on traditional outbound sales methods, but rather be conversion-focused and be excited to work with inbound leads and constantly enhancing the conversion and upsell process. Above all, you should be client service leader who is focused on helping your team members be their best and continually learn new skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team comprised of licensed Benefits Specialists, who focus on helping prospective clients find the right policy as well as providing service to existing clients

• Operate with little oversight, be an executor, and build trust across the Benefits team as well as cross-functionally

• Become a product expert and share this knowledge with internal employees

• Assist with service and sales requests from department leaders

• Continuous recruiting for your team as we continue to grow

Experience and Skills:

• 10+ years’ experience building service and conversion teams, preferably in SMB

• Necessary insurance licensing held in many states and jurisdictions, preferred

• Payroll knowledge, preferred

• College experience (degree strongly preferred)

• Excellent written and verbal communication
